Benefits and dependents
Benefits
Section titled “Benefits”Set the benefit type, base value, calculation method, and payroll impact. Examples include meals, transportation, gym memberships, and health insurance.
Dependents
Section titled “Dependents”When a benefit supports dependents, select each participating dependent. Additional cost should apply only to dependents enrolled in that benefit.
Review checklist
Section titled “Review checklist”- Is the benefit employer-paid, employee-paid, or shared?
- Is the value fixed or percentage-based?
- Is there an additional dependent cost?
- Which dependents actually use it?
- Is the total correct in payroll preview?
